Homeschool Day
Wednesday, September 11
Plan to visit WWA on Wednesday, September 11 for our Homeschool Day. While we will still be open to the public, we will not have school groups on this day so that you can enjoy the wildlife park with other homeschoolers. Come as a group or come as a family, today we will not have group minimums for homeschoolers, and you will receive our discounted school group rate which includes a small cup of carrots to feed the animals & a parakeet encounter stick for the Parakeet Encounter.
Special group pricing - $10/person ages 3+. (Cash only please for discounted admission)
Included with admission - 1 small cup of carrots & 1 bird stick
Wildlife Shows at 11:00 & 1:00.
Pet & feed many animals from around the world including camels, sloths, capybara, alpaca, sheep & so much more!
Visit with our zookeepers and have your questions answered.
Hike up to the Daniel Boone Cabin Historic Site - Be prepared by studying Daniel Boone in Advance!
Explore the creek for crawdads, fish & more. Be prepared to get wet! And check out our new rock feature to see if you can spot the fossils!
Cool off in the splash pad.
Let the kids play on the playground.
Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of our picnic areas.
Grab a treat in the gift shop, we have ice cream & slushies!
Shop in our gift shop for souvenirs to take home.
This is sure to be a fun event where you can gather with your homeschooling friends, and make new friends in the homeschooling community!
